Eric Séva was aware of this when he created this trio, bringing together Kevin Reveyrand and Jean-Luc Di Fraya. The bandmembers are united by many a point: deep artistic roots, a musical mother Earth that has ingrained in them the passion for melodic and rhythmic conversations stemming from popular musics, a common gift for sharing, between each other like with the public. An ideal encounter around jazz and world musics.
From their first meeting, their affinities gathered at the center of a magical combination to serve a music made of original compositions.
In his favourite format, Éric is surrounded by two musicians, at the crossroads of a refined acoustic trio whose music flows naturally. This trio is just obvious, playing, improvising, sharing, travelling… Like the world of dreams, Eric’s musical realm is a translation of his imagination that transcends his relationship with the listener, making it possible for audiences to travel in his wake.
